Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always, again I say, Rejoice.
So, the Word says to rejoice, be glad, have joy, all the time.
Rejoicing all the time, I don’t think we can do that. In fact, I know we can’t, it’s impossible. To have joy all the time, NO WAY!
Look at what’s going on in the world, that surely can’t make us happy. There’s trouble in my family, how can I be glad in that turmoil? I just lost my job; how can I rejoice about that?
If we’re believers and we’re obedient to do all of the Word, then why can’t we do this? If we have the anointing as a believer, we have the Holy Ghost living inside, we have the ability of grace, we have faith, then why wouldn’t we do it?
I’m not saying you won’t be tempted in times of troubles, difficulties, ornery people, bad reports. The devil will come and see to it.
He’ll say, “This isn’t working, it may have in the past, but this is bigger, it’s not going to happen. So just quit, look at yourself raising your hands and singing Hallelujah, how silly. Does it really do any good?”
You say right back to him, “Yes it does.” Then you stand in faith rejoicing and all his lies will start to fade away. Your joy is activated and starts to rise within you. The feelings of fear, discouragement, and doubt are disappearing all because you rejoiced in your God.
