Preferring Others

Ephesians 6:9-10 I say this. Be strong in the Lord and use the strength He gives. Use everything that God has given you so that you can fight against the tricks of the devil.

Well, in preferring one another, how would the devil get involved?

Thoughts will enter your mind like: you don’t have time to do that; you don’t need to get involved with them; or you won’t be able to do what they need.

If that’s the case, we’re not allowing God’s love to work through us. Where’s the Lord’s compassion for our fellow believers?

1 John 3:17-18 But if someone who is supposed to be a Christian has money enough to live well, and sees a brother in need, and won’t help him—how can God’s love be within him? Little children, let us stop just saying we love people; let us really love them, and show it by our actions.
