Responsible

Matthew 12:36-37 But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.  For by your words, you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

Saying and believing is God’s plan of dominion. It’s how we, as Christians are supposed to live.

Some haven’t been doing that. They’ve just ridden along passively in the passenger seat of life, unhappy about what’s happening to them and yet not using the power of their words to change it.

Well, someone may say, “I’ve never been a fan of making faith confessions. I like to leave everything up to God. He’s really the One who chooses what’s going to happen in our lives.” NO, He’s not. He’s given that choice to us.

Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore, choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.

So, we can exchange those wrong, negative words for the right, true words. Let’s choose life.
