By Your Words

Matthew 12:37 For by your words you will be justified and by your words you will be condemned.

Whose words will be justified or condemned? Not God’s but yours. It’s true, it’s in the Bible in red and white.

Does what we say about God’s Word affect what He says about us? Sure, it does.

Some Christians don’t want to believe it and say, “No, that can’t be right, God’s sovereign.” When He says something, it doesn’t make any difference what you say. What He says is going to come to pass. NO, that’s not true. The Bible doesn’t say that.

What you say carries more weight in your world.  It affects your life more than what anybody else says, even what the Lord has said about you.

If God says, “Jesus has paid the price for your sins, and you’re saved, redeemed and you are the righteousness of God.” And you say, “I don’t believe it, I don’t accept Him.” Will you be saved anyway? No, you won’t. So, didn’t your words carry more weight in your life than His?

God has set it up this way. He made us to have a voice and a free will. We can say anything we choose and because of that if we say it and allow it, He allows it for us.
