Work the Word

James 1:22 Do not deceive yourselves by just listening to His word; instead, put it into practice. 

To be doers of the Word of God, we apply the Word to our life every day. We walk in love, talk the Word, believe it and act on it.

To have knowledge of the Word is great but that knowledge is worth nothing if not put into use. You have to practice the Word every day. Make it your lifestyle.

The Word is power. Jesus overcame the temptation of the devil by saying, “It is written.”  It’s the same power that healed the sick, raised the dead, and walked on water. It’s still here today. That power is the Word of God.

The Word will work for us just as it did for Jesus. It will always work for those who work it.
