Reality to You

James 1:25 But those who set their gaze deeply into the perfecting law of liberty are captivated by it and respond to the truth they hear and are strengthened by it—they experience God’s blessing in all that they do!

You must believe the Word of God is the truth. You look into the Word to see what you are, who we are, and what you have. It takes reading the Word, meditating on it and confessing it. You do this for the Word to take root in your life.

As you look into the mirror of the Word you can see what you are, who you are and what you have. Start confessing those things.

When you see the Word says, “I’m a new creation in Christ, the old me is gone – I’m brand new.”  Confess it.

It may not seem real to you at first that you don’t have these things, you’re not what it says and you’re not who it says. But, if you will start to confess with your mouth, because you believe that God’s Word is true: “I am the righteousness of God in Christ, I belong to Him and He belongs to me. I am what the Bible says I am, I am who the Bible says I am, and I have what the Bible says I have.”

If you do this, it will become reality to you. It’s already done in the spirit, but we want it to become real in the here and now.

So, choose to look into the mirror of the Word of God and see what you are, who you are and what belongs to you.
