An Enemy of Faith is Unworthiness

Ephesians 2:10 We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus.

Unworthiness and a lack of faith go together. This is what the devil tries to instill in some Christians that will listen to him.

The Word has the solution. Your worthiness is in Jesus Christ. God doesn’t hear your prayer, heal your body, or give you the Holy Ghost based on your worthiness. If you don’t know the Word, this will defeat you. Christians that have this sense of unworthiness about them will say, “I’m not good enough.”

We don’t look at ourselves from the natural, mistakes, faults, and failures but at the way God sees us, and you must believe it.

When we were in Oklahoma, I went to a lot of job interviews, left resumes, and went to a job service. Then we met Richard and Karen, she asked me why don’t you see about a job at Rhema. They had been in a full gospel church, so I thought they were more spiritual than I was.

I didn’t think I was good enough or spiritual enough to work there. We had only been saved for two years. I was looking at what I knew about myself, not the way God saw me.

My friend kept talking to me and finally I asked Pastor Gene to pick up an application for me. He got one and brought it home, I filled it out and he took it back the next morning at 8:00. A lady from Rhema called me that morning to come for an interview. I went and talked with two people.

She asked me, “If you want the job, it’s yours.” I said, “Yes!” I started work the next day.

I found out that next week not all the people were as spiritual as I thought they would be. They hired me to work not to pass a spiritual test.

Don’t allow unworthiness to defeat you and believe what God says about you.

Love Pastor Carol
