John 20:29 Jesus said, “Thomas because you have seen Me, you believe, blessed are those that have not seen and believe.”
The disciples told Thomas that Jesus had been raised from the dead, but he didn’t believe. They told him they had seen the Lord, but he still didn’t believe . He didn’t even believe Jesus when He told him he would be raised from the dead. Why? He said he needed physical evidence. Until I see His hands, feel the wounds of the nails, and put my hand to His side, I won’t believe.
Faith believes in things that it doesn’t see. Faith changes hope into reality. Faith is acting in the face of contrary evidence. Faith stands no matter what everybody else is saying or believing.
Faith says the thing is done before God has acted. And that causes God to act for you.
God is a faith God and He operates on the principles of faith. We are born of God so we’re faith children. We’re to live by faith and receive from God by faith.
Jesus said in Mark 11:24, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours.
Not seeing is believing.
