Mathew 25:14-17 “For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey. Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them and made another five talents. And likewise, he who had received two gained two more also.”
The Master gave the amounts according to each one’s ability.
So, they went and did something with what they were given. They doubled their money.
The servant with the five believed he could do something with it, he believed he could please the Lord, he believed he would find success. The servant with the two believed the same and they were both successful.
They found profit, they found success, they doubled what they had, they pleased the Lord. And when they came before him, He said, “Good job.”
These two were faithful. They did something with what God gave them.
