Psalm 103:2 O my soul, come, praise the Eternal; sing a song from a grateful heart; sing and never forget all the good He has done.
A grateful heart is a continuous appreciation and thankfulness for blessings, both small and great. It is more than just saying "thank you"; it's a consistent, on purpose way of viewing life and recognizing the good things even in difficult times. When you focus on the positive you look for the good things in your life and appreciate them.
It is an intentional practice of acknowledging God's goodness, seeing Him move in our behalf in every situation. Gratitude is not just an internal feeling but an active, outward expression. The Bible gives examples of those who returned to thank Jesus, like the one leper who came back to give thanks out of many who were healed.
It's joy and contentment, it’s gratitude for what you have, rather than focusing on what you don’t have. This attitude of gratitude gives you happiness, peace and good health.
