Deuteronomy 26:11 Be grateful for the good things that the Lord your God has given you and your family.
Grateful means warmly or deeply appreciative of kindness or benefits received. True gratitude is recognizing that everything good comes from God, including our families. It involves understanding that we are not self-sufficient and need to appreciate and depend on God and each other.
Developing a grateful attitude helps a family rely more on their faith and draw closer to God. It means putting others before ourselves.
I’m grateful to God that my family is together. I’m grateful that He has gotten us through tough times. I’m grateful we can all sit down at the dinner table in love. I’m grateful we’re there for each other. And I’m grateful that God is in the midst of our family.
