The Great Exchange

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 

It’s the season when we celebrate God’s greatest gift of all—His son Jesus Christ. Because of what Jesus did for us, we’re blessed to have the greatest gift exchange ever. All we have to do is receive the gifts, by faith, He exchanged with us.

For SIN, we received FORGIVENESS.
Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. 

For DEATH, we received LIFE.
Ephesians 2:1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins…. 

For DEPRESSION, we received JOY.
Romans 14:17 …for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

For ANXIETY, we received PEACE.
Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

For LACK, we received ABUNDANCE.
2 Corinthians 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. 

For SICKNESS, we received HEALTH.
Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

For DEFEAT, we received VICTORY.
1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

God loves you so much that He wants you to experience His gifts of forgiveness, life, joy, peace, abundance, health, and victory. We’ve got a lot to be thankful for.
