Jesus said in Matthew 5:14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.”
Light represents God's presence, His truth, His guidance, and to show the life of a believer.
We are God’s lights. Everywhere we go it goes and everyone we come in contact with recognizes it.
We’re witnesses in this world. God’s lights going around everywhere shining the light on everyone.
In 2 Corinthians 1:21 it says, “Now, it is God himself who has anointed us.”
The Holy Spirit's anointing empowers us to be lights in the world, revealing God's truth, guiding us, and showing His will for our lives and others. We can benefit others with the anointing in us: sharing the truth, praying for the sick, and calming the storm in people’s lives.
We are God’s “Anointed Lights” going throughout the earth taking His truth and love.
As we begin this new year lets operate in, Matthew 5:16 Let our light so shine before men, that they may see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven.
