Our theme for last year was: Our Best Year Yet. I told the congregation to let that come on around to 2026.
What does that mean, Our Best Year Yet?
It means no matter what’s happened in years past, you can have a solid foundation with God’s Word to make this year the best year of your life.
Why can’t each year be better than the one before? Isn’t God progressive? Some say, “Well, I may not be progressive.” All we have to do is give ourselves to God and His Word. Trust in Him and He’ll do the work.
Mark 9:23 All things are possible for the one who believes and trusts in God.
A couple of Sundays ago, we went over all the things we’ve studied this year, Honor, Love, Preferring One Another, Our Words, Doers of the Word, Our Reflection is in the Word, Faith, Faithfulness, Thankful & Grateful & Our Greatest Gift, Jesus.
Applying these to our lives will elevate us to a new level. I’ve heard some say, “I’m ok where I am. There would be more responsibility and more required. I’ve got enough to do.”
That may be so but there will be more blessings, more increase, more joy and more peace if you apply these to your life.
Let’s start the new year with blessings, increase, joy and peace.
