Time with God

Mark 1:35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, Jesus went out and departed into a solitary place, and there, He prayed.

Every day when I wake up in the morning, I say, “Good morning God, good morning, Jesus, good morning, Holy Spirit, I love You, I love You, I love You.”

Then Joy (my dog) and I go to the kitchen, I give her breakfast, and I go get a cup of coffee, I head back to my bedroom where my Bible and devotional are on my nightstand.

Those times in the morning are valuable to my day. I have my fellowship time with God, pray, read the Word and listen for what He has to say to me.

On days I must be somewhere early, I get up a little earlier. Because I can’t do without my time with the Lord. He’s getting me ready for the day before I go anywhere.

Days don’t seem too productive without my time with Him. I pray and thank Him for all He’s done in my life. I never want to start a day without my time with God.

Love Pastor Carol
