Jesus said in John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing, you can’t accomplish anything.”
Abide means to wait, to stay, to dwell, to remain stable or fixed, and to live.
Having a living relationship with God every day gives you the power that enables you to overcome, to produce, and to accomplish.
We may know the right verses but if we don’t stay in communion with Him, we won’t be spiritually strong enough to do what we know to do.
Your strength comes from that living relationship with God – abiding in the vine. You don’t have to depend on yourself. You’re in union with God Almighty.
